Phil, have you considered looking at the figure of Satan in contemporary children’s cartoons?
The Powerpuff Girls has a figure called “Him” who is clearly a variant on Satan and even does a fairly respectable job of representing Satan as tempter.
Go here, click on “Characters,” and scroll down to “Him” to see this Satanic figure.

P.S. Go here to see the major recurring villians on the Powerpuff Girls, where you’ll find HIM, which apparently is an acronym for “His Infernal Majesty,” aka “Satan.”

Thanks for that, Jeffery. I hadn’t encountered that in connection with Powerpuff Girls (though had heard of them). Phil
