Jim Davila has been using the net for educational purposes for quite some time, including his ongoing blog on ancient Judaism (Paleojudaica) and a previous course-blog on the Dead Sea Scrolls. Now Jim has a course-blog on the Pseudepigrapha (Jewish writings of the Hellenistic and Roman periods that did not end up in the canon), which will no doubt need to deal with apocalyptic writings. So far, he has already posted his lecture notes for an “Introduction to the Old Testament Pseudepigrapha”. Keep an eye on that one.
