		<description>Please forgive my ignorance, but I would interpret the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist as being intended to show the fulfillment of the prophecy that the Messiah would be announced to the world by Elijah. If my supposition is correct, is the &#039;criterion of embarrassment&#039; appropriate here?</description>
